Nitrite is an undesired byproduct in cooling lubricants. It allows the formation of carcinogenic compounds. Cooling lubricants are therefore regularly tested for nitrite. In natural and drinking water nitrite can lead to infant mortality and kill aquatic life. The EPA primary drinking water standard is 1 mg/L.

Directions for use

Dip QUANTOFIX Nitrite 3000 in the test solution for 1 second.  Shake off excess liquid.  Wait 60 seconds.  Compare with the colour scale.

Store QUANTOFIX Nitrite 3000 in a cool, dry place.  Avoid exposure to sunlight and moisture.
